Following the conclusion of the application period for non-Iranian applicants seeking to pursue their studies at Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences (KUMS) in 1405 (2026–2027), in-person registration was conducted on October 10 and 11 at the University Guesthouse.
Dr. Elham Arkan, Head of International Affairs at the University, stated that, following the announcement of the in-person registration dates and coordination with student recruitment agencies, admitted applicants for the 2026–2027 academic year completed the registration process. This involved reviewing their academic credentials and obtaining the required undertakings and agreements related to international students.
Dr. Arkan further explained that international applicants must first complete the initial online application process through the University’s website, obtain the certificate of eligibility to study in Iran, complete the relevant consular procedures, and receive the confirmation code from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology’s ADAB portal. Following the receipt of preliminary approval from the relevant schools within the University, applicants can complete their registration and are referred to their respective schools to proceed with course registration and attend classes.
Expressing her appreciation to the University Chancellor, the Vice-Chancellors for Education and for Student and Cultural Affairs, all school deans, faculty members, and colleagues in the International Affairs Office, Dr. Arkan emphasized the University’s commitment to providing high-quality educational services to international students. She expressed hope that these efforts would help safeguard Iran’s academic standing and international reputation while further strengthening the academic reputation of Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences through scientific and health diplomacy.
